One fruit of the spirit is a word we all know.
Joy is a blessing for us believers below.
Man can’t produce the Joy that I speak,
It comes from God, given to the meek.
It allows you to suffer, having peace within.
It only leaves at the presence of sin.
Joy brings you through the trials of living.
A peace in your heart that keeps on forgiving.
It doesn’t forsake us; through the struggles we face.
But rather gives courage and keeps us in grace.
Joy is something this world does not know.
It comes not from pleasure, nor feelings that grow;
But comes from the peace that only God gives.
It’s for the redeemed, and the life that he lives.
So why do so many reject this great gift?
That is known for healing and burdens to lift.
If you find yourself lacking the Joy from above,
Turn to the Saviour and His redeeming love!
