A desert landscape and a profile of John the Baptist accompany printed scripture passages.

There was a man sent from God
whose name was John.

He was a burning and a shining light.
....filled with the Holy Ghost, from the womb.
....none greater, born of women.
....the voice of one crying in the wilderness.
....in the deserts, till the day of his shewing.
....the prophet of the Highest.

He went before the face of the Lord
To turn the hearts of the Fathers.

He said, Behold the Lamb of God.
....Make straight in the desert,
a highway for our God.
....Repent ye.
