Greetings in Jesus’ Name! We would like to give a little update about the Tape Ministry.
As we continue from day to day here in the Tape Ministry we thank God for all who have supported us. Your cards and letters of appreciation have been a great blessing and encouragement to us.
We are continually busy taking orders, answering phone calls, replying to emails, writing letters, and the list goes on. Not to mention the necessary routine work of keeping the database updated, correcting addresses, keeping the web site current with new messages, uploading the Remnant and Missions newsletter, and keeping ahead of all the other requests that come our way. We are currently sending out approximately three thousand messages per week. Thank you for keeping us busy with your requests!
We currently have four to five workers here every day with most of them volunteer. These are part-time and not coming in every day. However, we are looking for another fulltime volunteer. We are looking for a Christian young man who is responsible and willing to dedicate his time to this mission field. He needs to have an aptitude for computer work. If you are looking for a place to do some volunteer work and meet these requirements please call us. We are actively pursuing someone to fill this position.
We would like to begin offering our messages on regular CD. An increasing number of people are requesting this, primarily because their vehicles do not have cassette tape players in them. This will mean an upgrade of our equipment to be able to produce any significant amount. We feel this will only increase the availability of the Word of God to more people. We will continue offering our messages on tape and in the MP3 format.
Also, we have recently produced and edited the Godly Home Series on DVD. This is an excellent way to hear the series with the advantage of having visual stimulation as well. We are requiring it be used in a group setting. We will be advertising this on our web site and in “The Remnant” later. If you are interested please call or write to us for more information. We hope to have it available by the end of the year.
Our web site visitors are gradually increasing in number. We have many of our messages there as well as “The Heartbeat of the Remnant” and the Missions Newsletter.
