**When a man rules his family
righteously in the fear of God\.
He is anointed with spiritual authority\.
His influence shines on them
like the morning sun on a clear blue day\.
They grow like fresh grass
in the sunlight after a rain\.
His effectual life comes down on them
like showers that water the earth\.
His righteous family will flourish,
and peace shall prevail in his house\.**

**adapted from
2 Samuel 23:3,4
Psalm 72:6,7**
