The sun sets on another day\.  
 Kneeling, you realize you have nothing to say\.  
 It’s been so long since the fire burned hot,  
 Replaced with darkness, your stomach a knot\.  
 It didn’t take much, just a slow drift away;  
 If there’s no change, what a dear price to pay\!  
 But why so hard this narrow way?  
 If it would be easy, I could do it today\!  
 This battle is real, my life’s on the line\.  
 Oh God\! Please help me my life to refine\.  
 I feel sudden hope, God, You are really there\.  
 Yes, I feel Your presence, You really do care\!  
 Oh, forgive me I plead, please grant another try\!  
 Whatever you ask, my gaze is on high\.  
 Thank You, my Lord, my Sovereign Friend\.  
 My life on the altar until the very end\!
